Frustrating yes, and yet she could never get out. Thus was her fate, if only she knew. In a Wonderland of sorts, one she didn't want to be in. The "Alice" in this story land was nothing more then a scared and frightened child banging against the locked doors.Paint The Roses-Intro
And the "Mad Hatter" of this world couldn't be any more pleased.

Paint The Roses-Ch.1This story comes to tell the point of view for a young boy now. It was years ago for he was only six years old. Small, cute, full of imagination. This young boy had a family. A Mom, a Dad, and a older sister by 10 years. Like all small boys they loved their mommy. She was his world. A Queen and a Prince. The King and the Princess had a rather different bond. Paint The Roses-Ch.3Ceiling lights flickering on and off gave the normally white theme of the walls a unhealthy orange. Layers of filth growing as living moss through the door ways. If one were to open a door to the right, touching the slime infested door knob to a twist. They'd find oddly enough, a room of books. The Labyrinth Library. It resided in a hallway that kept mostly old things trapped in it. To age is never pretty so infectious beings liked to flock here. Large spiders with sharp daggers for legs scurried past aisles hoping to hide from the light when it flickered.
